Job Title: Site Supervisor – Montgomery VA

Compensation: $50 – 75K, base plus commission

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee a furniture and moving contract at the Montgomery VA Medical Center. The ideal candidate will have experience in the moving, furniture installation, or commercial relocation industry and the ability to manage a team of three furniture installers to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the work of three furniture installers and movers, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
• Oversee the installation of office furniture, modular workstations, and other related furnishings per project specifications.
• Ensure quality control by inspecting completed work and making necessary adjustments.
• Communicate with clients and project managers to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Manage weekly timelines and resolve any issues that arise to keep the project on schedule.
• Enforce safety regulations and ensure compliance with OSHA and VA site requirements.
• Coordinate logistics, including deliveries, staging areas, and work sequences to maximize efficiency.
• Maintain project documentation, including daily reports and inventory tracking.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in the moving, furniture installation, or commercial relocation industry.
• Previous leadership experience managing crews on-site.
• Ability to read and interpret floor plans and installation guides.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills to handle on-site challenges.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and workplace safety best practices.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Experience working on government or VA contracts (preferred).
